LOEX-of-the-West will be hosted by Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, from June 10-12, 2010.
The Call for Proposals is now closed. Thanks to all of you who have submitted proposals and to the members of the program committee who are now reviewing them.
We are pleased to announce a Pre-Conference Workshop -Join the Professional Conversation by RSR (Reference Services Review) co-editors Eleanor Mitchell and Sarah Barbara Watstein. This workshop, a lively and practical exploration of opportunities and challenges in publishing your work in the area of library and information science, will be fabulous. Content will cover all stages of the process from mining your work for publishable paper ideas to navigating copyright. Take the opportunity to learn from two experienced editors what they look for in papers, what the trends in publishing will be, and how to share your great ideas with the wider world most effectively. Registration will be limited to 30 people, more details will be available in February as we set up for registration.
