Audio Production Rooms

What are the Audio Production rooms?

The Audio Production rooms are still under construction. We hope to have them completed in October 2017.

The Audio Production rooms (EL2451A & B) inspire creativity in communications and enable students to explore a multitude of digital projects. Using specialized computers, sound recording equipment, microphones, instruments and other specialized technology, students and faculty can create podcasts, record music, and facilitate a range of media enhancements to any project. Community members can also utilize the editing suites for their own purposes of multimedia communication and digital projects.

These two rooms can be used independently or booked together as a sound booth and recording booth. They can also be used in conjunction with the Media Production and Media Editing rooms located in the START Lab in EL2230 on the second floor of the Riddell Library and Learning Centre.

The Audio Production rooms are available to be used by students, faculty, staff and our community.
