Topics will be given in class.
It will be on a current/controversial topic. Present your clear stand on the issue.
You cannot write on a topic or pick the same one from a different class.
1000-1250 words.
You must use the MLA method of documentation. If you don’t, your essay will get an F.
4-8 secondary sources (5 years to current, if possible).
You may pick 1 Internet source (e.g. .edu or .org) out of the 4 secondary sources (or 2 out of 8).
Pick scholarly journals and books. Do not use popular magazines like People, Cosmopolitan, etc. or newspapers.
Plagiarized essays will face serious consequences. If you fail to document your sources, document incorrectly, or pick incorrect/unapproved topics, your essay will receive an F. No AI use, etc.
