Undergraduate Research HQ

The Undergraduate Research HQ is a flexible, well-equipped work and meeting space for undergraduate research, collaboration and research-related programming on campus. It is located on RLLC Level 2 (EL2240) with close proximity to the Library's Data Hub.

Booking

The HQ will be open for approved users (when not otherwise booked) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Library Service Desk hours. If you are a registered user, visit the Service Desk to gain access to the space for drop-in use.

  • This space can be reserved by registered MRU Faculty, Research Leadership Program participants, and approved Research Assistants or MRU students engaged in Undergraduate Research projects and programming
  • To gain booking privileges, please register using the Expression of Interest form below
  • Once approved, you will receive a private booking link from the Library
  • Approved users may book up to 4 hours in a single day; up to 16 hours in a single week.
  • Booking opens 2 weeks in advance
  • For extended or multi-day bookings, please contact the Undergraduate Research Librarian, Brian Jackson, bjackson@mtroyal.ca

 

This is a dedicated space to be used for Undergraduate Research related co-working, meetings, workshops and programming.

  • Day-use lockers for short term storage
    • Those with approved access may borrow locks from the Library's service desk
