Search for journal articles, books, book chapters, videos and more using LibrarySearch

The search box on the MRU Library homepage lets you search all of the MRU Library collections at the same time.

Tips for using Library Search

  • Use the asterisk * to search for different forms of a word e.g. nurs* will find nursing, nurse, and nurses.
  • Use quotation marks to search for a particular phrase "health promotion"
  • Use the advanced search to build more complicated searches. Use OR between synonyms to broaden your search - it will find articles that use either term

  • Looking for journal articles? Limit your resources to Peer Reviewed and Resource Type - Articles
  • Use the Creation Date to limit to more recent articles

Searching PubMed

Searching PubMed is a more precise way to find health related articles as it searches only a select list of biomedical journals.
