Resources for Remote Instruction
Online resources available through MRU Library to help instructors with remote classroom delivery.
Remote Instruction Support
Consult with a Library Subject Specialist
Connect with a subject specialist to arrange for a workshop or virtual information literacy session or for advice on finding or purchasing online resources for your course.
Syllabus Service
Submit your syllabus and get direct links to items in the Library’s collections to embed in your D2L site. This service can also identify access restrictions placed on materials and provide alternate options.
Open Educational Resources
Consider adopting an open educational resource - freely available and customizable online textbooks, videos, images, games, and other teaching materials.
Contactless Book Pick Up
Faculty, staff and students may now request books that are currently on-shelf in the main library collection.
Equipment Lending
Request equipment for 2-week-long periods. We are prioritizing course-related requests at this time.
Book & Video Digitization
If you are unable to find an online alternative, the Library may be able to digitize a limited section from physical materials in our collection.
Copyright
We’ve gathered some of the most common questions around copyright from faculty who are creating and adjusting class content that will now be delivered remotely.
